Have succumbed to the world of blog and decided that today was the day to begin. Why today? Because it’s the official start of summer – hoorah! No more going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. Driving home in sunlight bright enough to warrant sunglasses – super duper. Felt like I should be skipping home through the fields rather than dodging the lorries on the M1. Kept waiting for all the lovely tweety birds to land on my shoulders a la Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins and did wonder if the woodland creatures would be waiting for me when I got home to help me tidy the house, just like in Snow White.
Alas, no interaction with nature but am still in a damn good sunny day mood….remains to be seen for how long. Roll on summer….
